The Church is the family of God created by our union with His only Son, Jesus Christ. By His death on the cross and resurrection in the power of the Holy Spirit, we share in His life through faith alone. Deerfield Presbyterian Church is a local expression of God's family which, since 1737, has worshipped and served the Lord Jesus according to the Word of God confessed in the Creeds of the Church Universal, and the Confessions of the Protestant Reformation.  Redeemed by God's grace, we are loved by Him and seek to demonstrate that love by caring for one another. We also invite others into this family through our public worship, Christian education, and outreach, as well as service to the community of which we are a part.
